Sienna had him go everywhere with her. Pick up cake. Wedding arrangements. Everythinh else dealing with weddings. He hated going, but he could never tell her no. So he sat through everything. Including the many times Will and Sienna decided to get \"romantic\". The other person they brought along - mom, friend, cousin - would normally turn to him and say \"Aren\'t they cute?\" Then he\'d lie and say yes or nod his head, even though the sight just burned through him. And if felt like everyone was freaking out. This needsto go there. That has to be in before this day. That\'s not big enough. They don\'t like that. It was like chickens with their heads cut off. He was getting sick of it. It was the night before the wedding, everyone in bed, but Joe knew not everyone was actually sleeping. He wasn\'t. And he kepthearing Sienna move in her bed.\n \"Joe?\" she said after a while.\n \"Hmm?\" he replied.\n \"You asleep?\"\n \"Nah.\"\n \"Oh.\" He heard her sit up in bed. She got up and leaned over his bed. Her eyes had looked red and puffy, like she had been crying.\n \"What\'s wrong?\" he asked her. She shook herhead and got in the covers with him. He pulled her into his arms and she rested her head on his chest.\n \"I guess I\'m just kinda scared.\" she said.\n \"About what?\"\n \"I don\'t know, getting married.\"\n \"Why? He loves you, you love him.\"\n \"I know. I guess I just have nerves. It\'s just weirdknowing that this is the guy I\'m spending the rest of my life with.\" His heart dropped when she said that. After tomorrow, she\'d probably disappear again and never return. He\'s have no chance. She\'d be gone forever to live with Will, and they would never hear from her again.\n \"This is what you want, right?\" he asked. He\'d give anything to hear her say \"No, I want you\" but he knew that\'d never happen.\n \"Yeah. I love him.\" she said. She sounded unconvincing for some reason.\n \"Well, then, I know everything\'s going to be fine.\" She looked up at him. Into his eyes. Just stared at him. The way she did four years ago. Like she still loved him. Like she wanted to kiss him. And for a second there, he thought they were going to, until she took a deep breath and looked away, as if to stop the temptation.\n \"I\'m gunna go to bed.\" she said. Joe sighed quietly.\n \"Okay. Night.\"She started to lift herself out of bed, but then stopped.\n \"Umm, can I sleep in your bed...with you?\" she asked. He bit the inside of his lip to keep himself from smiling.\n \"Sure.\" She laid back down, placing her head comfortably on his shoulder.\n \"It\'s just kinda lonely, and cold, in thatbed.\" she said, somewhat rambling.\n \"Yeah, yeah, of course.\" He leaned his head on hers and they quickly fell asleep.\n \n***\n \nThe next morning, Joe woke up to Nick whisper shouting his name.\n \"Joe!\" Nick said again. Joe opened his eyes.\n \"Quiet, you\'ll wake her.\" Joe whispered.\n \"One question.\" Nick whispered, trying to stay calm.\n \"What?\"\n \"Whatis Sienna doing in YOUR bed, with you?\"\"Sleeping.\"\"Joe. The truth.\"\"What? Are you really thinking we did it?\"\"It wouldn\'t be the first time.\" Nick pointed out.\"Oh, come on.\"\"Joe, she\'s getting MARRIED!\"\"Nothing happened! I mean, we\'re both fully clothed. She won\'t even kiss me.\"\"Uh. You expect her to kiss you? She\'s engaged!\"\"Sorry, you\'re the one accusing things.\"\"I was just asking what she was doing in your bed.\"\"In an accusing tone!\" Joe shouted, breaking the whisper. Sienna woke up. She looked over at Nick, confusion on her face.\"Hi Nick?\" she said.\"Hey...Siee...\" Nick replied.\"What\'s going on?\"\"Oh, uh, I was just...waking up Joe.\"\"Oh.\"\"So,\" Nick said as he started to walk out, \"Joe, wake up.\"\"What time are you leaving?\" Joe asked Sienna when Nick was gone.\"Um, eight.\" They both looked over at the clock. \"So I guess in 45 minutes.\"\"Ah. You excited?\"\"Yeah.\" She didn\'t sound too excited. He kissed her forehead.\"Everything will be fine.\" he told her as he got out of bed.
